There are various methods in order to measure the level of materials, contained in a tank; among which the latest and also the best method to do so is to profit from the appliance of electro-magnetic waves or “RADAR”s. In addition to high accuracy, this method is easily responsive in tanks with difficult conditions such as great depth, presence of uneven floors or surfaces, presence of vapors or suspended powder particles, high temperature, corrosiveness and flammability of the materials inside the tank. The radar level gauges manufactured by RSCO use radar waves and FMCW technique in the frequency band of 9.6-10.8 GHz for distance measurement.
